The Institut de la Màcula is a center of international reference in the treatment of the medical and surgical pathology of the macula, the retina and the vitreous, attached to the Hospital Quirón Teknon, of the Quirón Hospitalar Group. The new Institut building, recently inaugurated, has made it possible to increase patient comfort and continue offering the best service.
The use of the most innovative techniques and treatments of the different specialties place the center at the forefront of the treatment and management of diseases of the vision.
At the Institut de la Màcula we offer a comprehensive ophthalmological health service that includes, among other areas of expertise, degenerative and vascular diseases of the macula, diabetic retinopathy, vitreoretinal microsurgery, refractive surgery and cataract, as well as surgery plastic eye and glaucoma.
